Recruitment for WAGGGS 39th World Conference – Young Women Observers

The World Conference of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is held every three years and is a key part of policy making for WAGGGS and its Member Organisations. The 39th World Conference (39 WoCo) is to be held in June 2026 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. During the Conference, Member Organisations will elect new World Board Members, decide the host of 40th World Conference in 2029, and consider proposed constitutional and other motions.

The Girl Guides Badge Program provides girls with clear guidance to develop their talents, showcase their abilities, and continuously challenge themselves. Beyond learning a skill, the badges also help Girl Guides affirm themselves during activities, boost their confidence, build a positive self-image, and experience a sense of accomplishment.

Brownie & Guide Section - Girls for Green Energy Day Camp (2)

 

"Girls for Green Energy (G4GE)" is a pilot project on renewable energy through gamified learning, using Microsoft's Minecraft as tools, that the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is working in partnership with Siemens Energy. In addition to the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, WAGGGS is also work with Member Organisations in Singapore and Taiwan to deliver this project.
