The Association had been invited by the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia to celebrate International Women’s Day together, and to invite our members to participate in this international level competition entitled - “Her Story, My Aspiration” – International Women's Day Poster Graphic Competitions
 

This competition aims to empower girls and young women by encouraging them competition to reflect on and present women they admire and aspire to be, while celebrating women’s achievements, leadership, resilience, and contributions to society.

COMPETITION DETAILS

1. Theme: Women I Admire and Aspire to Be

2. Eligibility: Members from HKGGA

3. Age category: [Brownies]- primary school from age 9-12, [Girl Guides]- secondary school from age 13 – 19

4. Format:Poster infographic presentation (manual or digital) in size A3  

5. Participation: Individual entries only. Each participant may submit one poster only. Unlimited participants from each MO. 

6. 10 best poster in each category will advance to the finals.

7. Finalist will be informed through their emails for online rehearsal sessions.

8. Participants are required to do a short presentation about the poster in the finals.
    

FINALS DETAIL

• Date:  8 March 2026

• Presentation Time :  2-3 minutes per finalist

• Platform : Online Programme via Zoom Meeting

    
COMPETITION & JUDGING CRITERIA 

1. Content, Originality & Theme Relevance(30%)

• Poster must highlight a woman the participant admires

• The chosen woman may be a global figure, national icon, community leader, or personal role model

• Clear explanation of why the individual inspires the participant

• All submissions must be the participant’s own original work,

• Plagiarism or use of copyrighted materials without permission is strictly prohibited

   

2. Design & Creativity (30%)

• Original and creative visual presentation

• Effective use of colours, typography, images, and layout

• Posters may be hand-drawn or digitally designed

3. Presentation Component (20%)

• A short explanation of the poster 

• Language in English

• Submissions should be in English

• Poster size: A3 (manual – scanned) or digital equivalent
   

4. Visual Quality & Overall impact (20%)

IMPORTANT DATES
Submission period : 21-28 February 2026
Online rehearsal: 4-7 March 2026
Final Competition date: 8 March 2026
