FAQ
1. How can I receive support and endorsement from HKGGA? If I don't know the International Commissioner personally. Will she provide a recommendation to me?
Fill in page 2 of the form with your detailed Capacity Building experience and the reason you would like to join the pool. The International Commissioner will assess your experience and the information you have provided. If HKGGA would like to learn more about you and your past experience, we may contact you by email or phone.
2. Can I apply for the Volunteer Pool with no prior experience of capacity building?
The volunteer resource pool serves as a platform for volunteers to utilise and share their skills. If you lack relevant experience but are eager to join the pool, you're encouraged to participate in leadership and capacity-building activities. Engaging in these initiatives will allow you to enhance your skills and accumulate valuable experience over time.
3. Can I join the pool if I am under 18?
No, membership is only available once you reach the age of 18. Let's explore other opportunities at WAGGGS (link) to enhance your personal development, and consider joining our Volunteer Pool when you come of age.
