HKGGA has been invited by The Girl Scout Association of Mongolia to send contingent to join the 7th National Jamboree 2024 to:

• embark on this journey and bring together guide and scout groups, branches, and friends from all corners of Mongolia
• explore the rich culture tapestry of Bayan-Olgii Province
• immerse yourselve in Kazakh ethnic culture, smaple traditional cuisine, admire unique clothing, and learn about the farming life of the region

Event Date: 19th to 27th July 2024 (Friday to Saturday, scheduled to be departed on 17th July and return on 30th July)

Theme: Blue Sky Scouting

Official Language of the Camp: English

Organiser: The Scout Association of Mongolia

Commitment:

• Applicant must need to attend the interview session, details will be announced via email
• Applicant must need to attend the pre-camp session.
• All selected participants are required to attend the whole period of camp, also to participate and share in the "Let Us Share" event in 2025.

Target Participants: 2 Guiders and 8 Guides/Rangers (aged 14 - 17)

Fee:  HK$6,700

*included camp fee, transportation from the airport to the venue and back, meals during the jamboree, sightseeing activities, a Jamboree kit and sourvenirs

Remarks:

• Deducted HK$3,000 (subsidy from the Association on camp fee, preparation work and administration, etc.)
• Allowance: Guider-In-Charge with 70% allowance, Assistant Guider with 30% allowance.
• Fare is estimated as at June 2024 and is subject to change. Event fee will be adjusted accordingly.
• Grant:
  • Available to those underprivileged Guides/Rangers wishing to attend international events (Allocation for the grant is depends on selection result)
