Introduction, Location and Accessibility

The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association Tin Shui Wai Pansy Ho Activity Centre

Background:

Tin Shui Wai is a densely populated and a developed new town with high-rise residential buildings. According to the Population Census 2018, the population of Tin Shui Wai is approximately 280,000. With the rapid increase of population in the northern part of Tin Shui Wai where there is an urgent need to provide leisure and recreation activities to meet the need of the community .

 

Service Objectives:

To enhance the development and assist the balanced development of the social, moral, emotional and physical competences of children and youth in Tin Shui Wai by developing and organizing various programs and activities. The Centre also aims to empower women to self-help and help others and to actively participate in the community . 

 

Service Targets:

We mainly serve children, teenagers, women and families in Tin Shui Wai.

 

Activities:

  • Guiding activities, interest badge workshop and assessment, camping etc

  • Parent-child activities

  • Recreational activities

  • Interest classes and groups

  • Volunteer trainings

  • Community services etc.

 

Membership Application and Renewal:

  • Applicant should be the Hong Kong permanent resident.

  • After completion of application form , the Circular of Personal Data (Privacy Ordinance) and the Opt-out Request Form, please bring along the original copy or true copy of the Hong Kong Permanent Residents certificates ( Hong Kong Identity Card, Birth Certificate etc) to the centre for identification checking.

  • Applicant under 18 years old shall obtain parental / guardian's consent.

  • Renewal Procedure Member should apply in person at the Centre.

 

Membership Duration​:

  • All membership is valid for 3 years.

  • Membership is free of charge.

Download  and  "Circular relating to the Personal Data Ordinance with Consent form" and "Opt-out Request Form" (18 yrs old and above)(Under 18 yrs old)

 

Termination / Withdrawal of Membership :

  • Any member wishing to terminate membership should bring along the membership card in person at the Centre.

 

Application for Activities and Refund Procedure:​

Please enroll activities in person and pay the required enrolment fees at the Centre.

Except for the immediate family members  (Only includes parents, couples & Child), helping other people to apply activities is not accepted.

Quotas for all activities are first come first serve. Application by using telephone and making reservations are not accepted.
