The Backwoods Cooking Class was held successfully on 16 and 23 Oct 2016. Brownies, Guides and Golden Guides gathered at Sandilands Center to enjoy the fun. Some Girl Guides reflected that it was the first time they tried outdoor cooking, they felt novel and amused. Girl Guides practiced division of labor while cooking. Some Girl Guides were responsible for cutting and washing ingredients and others were responsible for preparing the cooking utensils. After cooking, they enjoyed the good taste of their hard work- cakes, roast chicken, tomato rice, etc.
