HKGGA - 105 Anniversary Badge Design

 

Aim：We are collecting the badge design for the Hong Kong Girl Guides 105 Anniversary. The theme is "Be a Daring Girl". It is expected that Girl Guides are brave, willing to take risks, and brave to take the first step and make many different attempts to realize the abilities of women. We give back to the society with practical actions and create a beautiful community together. The organizing committee is now soliciting badge designs. All of our members are welcome to participate. The selected outstanding works will be made into metal badge and cloth badge for commemoration.

 

Details：

Target：

Girl Guide Members（including Happy Bee, Brownie Guide, Girl Guide, Ranger Guide, Golden Guide, Guider, Leader, Commissioner, Assessor, RA/DA Member)

Requirements：
  • Design must be included "Hong Kong Girl Guide" logo and the elements about "105 Anniversary"
  • Design a set of one metal badge and one cloth badge

Colouring：

10 colours for the maximum

Size：
  • Metal Badge：Oval (the diameter of the longest side cannot be more than 3 cm, and the girl scout emblem cannot be less than 0.5cm x 0.5cm)
  • Cloth Badge：Round (the diameter of the longest side cannot be more than 8 cm, and the girl scout emblem cannot be less than 0.6cm x 0.6cm)

＊The Girl Guide logo Pantone: The purple part is 227c; the red part is Warm Red. For details, please refer to the requirements of the Hong Kong Girl Guide logo regulation on the registration form.

Submission Way：

It must be made with a computer. You can use computer software tools to create a computer graphic file in JPEG format, AI format and 300dpi resolution, and name the file "105Badge-(your full English name)". Email the image file and the completed registration form (Download) to gigi.leung@hkgga.org.hk。

Prizes：

Champion, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up：one each（Certificate and book coupon）

Merit：3（Certificate and book coupon）（Proportionally adjusted depending on the number of participants）

＊Participants can receive a certificate of participation and a set of badges

Deadline：

9 July 2021 (Fri)

Note：

 All submitted designs will be selected by judges, and the list of winners will be announced on our website from July to August 2021.

Precaution︰

 1. Each participant can submit more than one design, and the design may be modified.
2. All works must be submitted with the registration form.
3. All works will not be returned, the copyright of the entries belongs to the association, and it has the right to modify the design.
4. All works must be original works and have not been used to participate in other public competitions.
