Purpose: To encourage all Girl Guides to express their appreciation and pay tribute to their Guiders for their efforts.

Activity Date: May to July 2023
Nature of the activity: Celebration of Guiders'  Day
Theme: To encourage Girl Guides members to celebrate Guiders' Day
Target: Happy Bees, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, and Golden Guides
Mode of Activity: Girl Guide members will voluntarily celebrate Guiders' Day by organizing a meeting. After the meeting, they will share some moments of the meeting and celebrate with other units. The official Girl Guides social media platform will then conduct a vote to choose the first 3 posts with the most likes photos will be given an award.

Details of the activity:
Eligibility:   Happy Bees, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, and Golden Guides who have taken an oath

Theme:   Be grateful for their Guiders/ Leaders

Mode of Celebration:  Each Girl Guides unit will voluntarily organize a meeting to celebrate Guiders' Day.
A template for a thank you card will be provided. Encouragement and suggestions to celebrate Guiders' Day and direction of the meeting theme will be promoted through social media platforms.

Method of recording the unit's celebration of Guiders' Day: 
 - Record the meeting process or memory by taking photos (tag HKGGA's account on social media platforms)

Voting method:
-  Collect a photo of the unit’s meeting and a description of the photo through a Jot Form. The photos and description will then be uploaded to the headquarters' Facebook account for public voting, which will last for a week. The 3 photos with the most likes will be rewarded.

Awards: The 3 units being awarded will be awarded the same prize.
 - Brownies, guides, and rangers: one quota 2-day, 1-night camping at a dormitory or camping at any campsites operated by the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association (free of charge for the camping charge)
-  Happy Bees, Golden Guides: Two quotas for a day camp at campsites operated by the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association (free of charge for the camping charge)

Remarks:
There are no limitations on the meeting content for celebrating Guiders' Day.
Each unit can only submit ONE Application with maximum 2 photos.
