Although registration for the briefing has closed, there are still available slots for the promotional activities! Girl Guides members who are interested in participating can still click on the application link below to join the promotional events.

To promote the implementation of the Municipal Solid Waste Charging (MSW charging) and Clean recycling, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has collaborated with the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association to recruit dedicated Girl Guides members as Green Outreach Volunteers. These volunteers will be stationed in various districts to carry out promotion activities and raise public awareness about waste charging and proper recycling.

A train-the-trainer briefing will be held before the promotion activities to allow volunteers to acquire necessary knowledge. After completing the training, volunteers will receive assistance from staff of the EPD and participate in at least one promotion activities.
