Tuen Mun Division Girl Guide Fly up Ceremony cum Summer Activities Full of Fun 23-24
Purpose: To connect various groups of Girl Guides in Tuen Mun Division to share the fun of activities; at the same time, to allow members to be promoted to another group, continue the Girl Guide life, and enhance their character and potential in all aspects.
Date: 29 June, 2024 (Saturday)
Time: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Check-in time: 1:00 p.m.
Venue: Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Yau Chi-tin Memorial Secondary School (1 Siu Hong Road, Siu Hong Court, Tuen Mun, New Territories)
Activity content: 1. Fly up ceremony for Girl Guide members of each section; 2. Singing competition; 3. Award ceremony
Cost: Free of charge
Quota: 120 people (first come, first served). Each promoted team member can be accompanied by one parent.
Clothing: members in different sections: full uniform with hat
Happy Bee : full uniforms
Eligibility:
1. Promotion Ceremony
a. Happy Bee who are 6 years old or above or who have recently graduated from kindergarten; or
b. Those who are over 10 years old and will leave the Brownies and are willing to be promoted to Girl Guides; or
c. Members who will leave the Girl Guides after reaching the age of 15 and who are willing to be promoted to Ranger
2. Girl Guide Singing Contest (Quota is first come, first served)

d. Ranger
Badge/Awards:
1. Promotion Ceremony
All team members who attend the Fly up ceremony will be awarded a Fly up Badge
2. Girl Guide Singing Contest
The competition includes first, second and third place, Merit Award, Most Typical Award, Best Performance Award and Most Potential Award.
Singing competition details:
1. It can be done as an individual or as a team, but each team member can only register once.
2. There are 10 teams. Due to limited places, each team can only send one team to participate.
3. Team members who are promoted or not can also participate in the singing competition.
4. The competition time limit for each team is 4 minutes. If the song exceeds 4 minutes, the team is required to arrange the accompaniment music by itself. The conference will not provide editing on site.
5. Complete the song information when registering and submit the music file (mp3.) 3 days before the event. Details will be in the admission memorandum.
Registration method:
Guiders are required to fill in the registration form (Google Form) and submit it along with the list of participants and the "Parent/Guardian Consent Form".

Remark:
1. Each participant must complete the "Parent/Guardian Consent Form". Each leader must submit the parent/guardian consent form when submitting the registration form on Google Form.
2. This event does not accept registration by phone, email or fax.
3. If there are any changes, the final announcement of the conference shall prevail.
4. Once the registration is accepted, the name of the attendee cannot be changed.
5. An event memo will be emailed to leaders one week before the event. Please make sure the email address is correct and check it on time.
Adverse weather arrangements:
If there is a typhoon signal No. 3 or above, a red/black rainstorm warning, extreme conditions, or the Education Bureau announces class suspension before 11 a.m. that day, this event will be cancelled. The weather report is subject to the information released by the Hong Kong Observatory.
