In view of the current social situation and safety concerns for our Girl Guide members, the Association will implement the following activity arrangements with immediate effect:

1. “Golden Guides Tea Gathering 2019” originally scheduled for 5 October 2019 (Saturday) at Kowloon Bay Paramount Banquet Hall, Skyline Tower, Kowloon Bay, will be postponed to 26 October 2019 (Saturday) at the same venue. Time schedule will be announced shortly.

2. “Annual Parade 2019” originally scheduled for 10 November 2019 (Sunday) at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground will be cancelled. Accordingly, rehearsals and training related to the event will also be cancelled.

3. Unit Meetings / Guiding Activities  

3.1 Headquarters unit meetings and activities / Activities organized by Headquarters, Division or District

• Unit meetings / activities before 1pm will continue as scheduled under safe conditions. Guiders/Leaders can use their discretion in deciding the arrangement based on the conditions in their regions.  
• Unit meetings / activities after 1pm will be postponed or cancelled.

3.2 Unit meetings and activities organized by schools or other sponsoring authorities

• All unit meetings and activities should be conducted under safe conditions, following the guidelines of the school or sponsoring authority.  

4. Adult Members' Meetings / Training / Activities

4.1 Meetings / Training / Activities held in evening or at night during weekdays

• Members should avoid scheduling meetings, trainings or activities in evening or at night. In case if meeting is necessary, video conferencing or other appropriate multimedia means are highly recommended to replace face-to-face meeting. In regards to designated training / activities, please ensure all participants can have access to public transport for safe transits.

4.2 Meetings / Training / Activities held before 1pm during weekends

• Will continue as scheduled under safe conditions.

4.3 Meetings / Training / Activities held for a full day / in PM session 

• Will be postponed or cancelled.

The above arrangement will be effective immediately until further notice. Announcement for any updates will be posted on the Association's website and Facebook page in due course.
