"Girls for Green Energy (G4GE)" is a pilot project on renewable energy through gamified learning, using Microsoft's Minecraft as tools, that WAGGGS is working in partnership with Siemens Energy.

We have previously recruited a group of aspiring guiders who will bring the project back to their units after training. They will assist girls in completing the game "Planet Rescuers" and reflect on the knowledge of renewable energy, climate change, and the environment learned during gameplay, guiding the girls to explore how to take action for a sustainable future.

The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association will also hold a Girls for Green Energy event during the summer, where eligible Brownies and Guides can participate. We now invite everyone interested in the project to join us on April 20 for the Girls for Green Energy Soft Launch to learn more about it.

Exciting Transformation of Launch Day!

To enhance participant engagement and understanding of the Minecraft game, thereby increasing interest in the Girl for Green Energy project, the venue for this event will now be moved to K11 ART HOUSE. We invite all participants to join us for a screening of "A Minecraft Movie".
