Guides' Farm 

Objective:

We hope to through the planting scheme, provides experienced teachers and suitable facilities, increasing the participant’s awareness of organic farming and healthy eating, further to develop the kinds of ingredients, so as to establish a green living culture and foster personal responsibility.

 

Period: March - August, 2017
Venue: HKGGA Headquarters (G/F, 8 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong)

Fee:

 

$200 for a period of 6 months
(Fee including a 7 x 4.4 square ft. plot, seeds, organic fertilizers, organic pesticides, instructor fee and a 6-month gardening session of practice and guidance)
Target: Brownie Guide / Girl Guide / Ranger Guide / Guiders (Please Apply in Unit Basis)

 

Post to note before apply

  1. Applications must be submitted in Unit basis by Guider completing the application form.
  2. Each Unit must send a representative to attend the gardening session as listed below.
  3. Priority would be given to Units applying the Guide’s Farm for the first time.

How to Apply:

Applications should be submitted by Post / Fax (Fax Number: 2617 1478) / Online Course Registration System or In-Person to The Hong Kong Girls Guides Association – Programme Department (Address:   8 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong) on or before 28th February, 2017 (Wednesday).
