One Planet Youth Action - Biodiversity Check @ Mai Po
(Note: Event to be conducted in Cantonese)
Introduction
Mai Po Nature Reserve[1] provides birds and many local creatures with an important habitat. To maintain the biodiversity in the reserve, we have to understand the situation from time to time, so as to manage and to avoid the disappearance of the species because of the human activities. WWF-Hong Kong started the captioned project in 2017 to allow youth to become “citizen scientists”, as well as to work with WWF Staff for ecological surveys and studies. This year HKGGA would join and recruit members to take part in this project.
