About SDG Junior Ambassador Programme

We will recruit Brownies and Guides to become the "SDG Junior Ambassadors", as well as Guiders and Rangers to be the "SDG Junior Ambassador Leaders and Peer Educators". Through participation in SDG trainings, we encourage the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at the community level and become a keen advocate to promote actions that respond to the goals.
Guider and Peer Educator Workshop – Learning Goals
1. To have a better understanding of the significance of the 17 SDGs as well as the SDG Junior Ambassador Programme
2. To know that Brownies and Guides are capable to share with the world by offering their actions in service of the SDGs, in order to shape the world around them into a better place for all
3. To learn how to lead the SDG Junior Ambassador Programme to the Brownies and Guides, and to promote the Programme in their groups
About the workshop
Date: 6 May 2018 (Sunday)
Time: 10am-5pm
Venue: 3/F Hall, HKGGA HQs (8 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon)
Remark: Lunch time will be arranged for participant at the event venue. Participants should bring light packed lunch. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own tableware.
Target Group and Quota: Ranger over 18 years old or Guider from all sections – 60pax
Charge: Free (subsidized by HKGGA, include venue, handout and attendance certificate)

1. Complete the application form and send via email (tpg@hkgga.org.hk), fax to 2617 1478 or post/submit in person to Course Registration Office of HKGGA HQs (8 Gascoigne Road)

Application Guidelines
1. Application would be handled by first-come-first-served basis, and would not be handled if the information provided by the applicant is incomplete.
2. Enrollment list would be posted on the event website.
3. The participant’s name could not be amended once the application is accepted. If the enrolled participant could not attend the event please inform the Course Registration Staff as soon as possible.
