The Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held originally in Tokyo, Japan in 2020. Due to the pandemic, it will be postponed to 2021. 2020 is a special year for the Girl Scouts of Japan as it marks the centenary celebrations of the Association.

 

To celebrate together, the Girl Scouts of Japan developed Olympia Badge 2020 activity pack. Yet, we would like our rangers to continue the spirit of Olympic by learning more about it and getting ready for the coming Olympic and Paralympic Games, thus we will hold Olympia Badge 2020 Workshops. Through the online platform, it reduces social contact, while Ranger Council will complete some of the activities in the activity pack with participants.

Remarks:

  • Registration will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Participants could join one or both workshops.
  • This workshop will be held the activities of "Temple" and "Theatre" in Olympia Badge 2020 Activity Pack*. Participants will receive an electronic certificate from the Ranger Council when they complete the workshop.
  • Participants have to complete at least one activity in ‘Stadium’ to fulfil the lowest requirement of Olympia Badge 2020.
  • Participants have to switch on their camera to ensure the activity progress and facilitate communication.
