The 6th Youth Actualization Training Programme
The Hong Kong Federation of Women's Associations was initiated by Dr. Peggy Lam Pei Yu-dja in 1993, with 10 invited prominent women to serve as founding members. The organization aims to unite women from all walks of life, focus on Hong Kong affairs, and strive for the protection and promotion of women's legitimate rights and interests, as well as to maintain communication and contact with women's organizations worldwide. Currently, the organization has 87 members and is the most representative and widely contacted non-profit women's organization in Hong Kong.
The Youth Leadership Committee of the Hong Kong Federation of Women's Associations is committed to cultivating leadership skills among young people in Hong Kong. For over a decade, through its systematic and diversified Youth Actualization Training Program, the committee has nurtured young women who are rooted in Hong Kong, love their country, and have a global perspective. They encourage these young women to serve the community, and broaden their international horizons.
