MC Recruitment

 

HKGGA Annual Parade will be held on 28 January 2023 at Mong Kok Stadium. This year theme is "Celebrating Diversity, Sharing Legacies —In Guiding We Shine". MC Recruitment is now open for application, details as below:

 

Selection Details：

Date： 7 December 2023 (Thursday)
Time： Begin at 6:00 pm (Reporting time will be annouced soon)
Venue： Room 302 and 303, HQ, HKGGA
Target： Enrolled Brownies, Guides, Rangers & Guiders
Dress： Full Uniform with Hat
Selection Process
  1. Reporting and knowing your group mates
    • 4 people in a group
  2. MC Script Performance
    • Characters will be alotted before selection (A, B, C, D)
    • Time for prepareation : 5 minutes
    • Prepare MC script or cue card by yourself 
    • Script can be slighty adjusted by your own style, if needed
    • Bring along your own stationary
  3. Instant Topic Performance
    • Topic will be announced before selection
    • Contents include: Sharing, Introduction, Promotion related to the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association
    • Time for preparation : 5 minutes (after the MC script performance of your topic.)

Remarks：

  1. Members who joined the MC workshop will be accorded priority.

  2. Successful candidate must attend the rehearsal on 27 Jan 2024

  3. MC Training may be arranged during December to January (Details will be provided soon)
