HKGGA Special Announcement on Activity Arrangements (Updated as at 23 Nov 2020)
In response to the recent spike in locally transmitted COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong, in order to safeguard the health of our members, the Association will implement the following activity arrangements with immediate effect:
- ALL face-to-face unit meetings / activities, Happy Bees’ unit meetings / activities, Golden Guides’ unit meetings / activities, or activities and trainings organized by Headquarters, Division, District, Regional and District Associations will be suspended from 25 November 2020 until 8 December 2020. Unit meetings / activities are recommended to be conducted in the form of video conferencing.
- Please use video conferencing or other non-face-to-face methods for necessary meetings between adult members.
- The HKGGA Headquarters was reopened earlier. Venue users should comply with the social distancing requirements stipulated under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (the Regulation) (Cap.599G), including: the restriction on the number of persons at group gatherings, maintaining social distance among individuals or groups, requirements on wearing masks, meal arrangements, etc. For details, please refer to “Headquarters Notices (With effect from 18 November 2020)”.
- ALL venue rental services of HKGGA campsites are temporarily closed from 23 November 2020 until 8 December 2020.
- Regular courses in HKGGA Tin Shui Wai Pansy Ho Activity Centre & HKGGA Jockey Club Tung Chung Activity Centre are suspended from 23 November 2020 until 8 December, 2020. The Centres remain open as usual. For enquiry, please contact the staff of the respective centres:
