Headquarters Notices(with effect from 17 November, 2022)

 

  In light of the fact that the COVID-19 situation has continued to subside and is stabilizing gradually, Headquarters’ venue are resumed . The activity organized by Headquarters, Division, District or unit should refer to HKGGA Special Announcement on Activity Arrangements (with effect from 17 November, 2022).

 

   In order to comply with the requirements stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, the Association will ensure necessary measures to be adopted at reopened venues. 

 

  All venue users have to comply with all regulations, include but not limited to Cap. 599F Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation, Cap. 599G Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation and Cap. 599L Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation on the prohibition of group gatherings of not more than the number of people as stipulated by these Regulations. According to the aforementioned Regulations, the authorized officer appointed by government is being complied to inspect HKGGA Headquarters. The users shall bear legal liability or responsibility for any non-compliance with the rules and regulations.

 

  The Association will adopt special measures at the Headquarters to avoid people from gathering and to maintain social distance. Venue users must comply with the following special measures. If anyone violates the guidelines above, the Association reserves the right to request that person to leave the venue.

* For activities to be held in venues, no more than 12 participants including the instructor in a cluster could be conducted and a distance of at least 1.5 metres between groups should be maintained when exercising (except during team sport competition or training). The organizer should consider the venue depending on the space required and nature of the activity. The Association reserves the right to reject the application and request that person to leave the venue if anyone violates the guidelines.

 

1.    The organizer is requested to ensure users are not currently subject to any quarantine order issued by the Government. If the users have symptoms of cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulty and sore throat, please seek medical advice immediately.
2.    Wear mask in all areas, during physical activities and use of the indoor and outdoor venue (except ecercise session or during photo taking on stage at an event).
3.    All persons are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code and perform temperature check before entering.  People with fever symptoms will not be permitted to enter the Headquarter. 

4.    All persons (except exemptions*) entering or remaining on Headquarters (except Guides Shop) must comply with the requirement of the Vaccine Pass. Persons under the category of Red Code are not allowed to enter Headquarters in the capacity of a participant, user or visitor. 
5.    For the booking involved with exercising, participants are required to present the QR Code for scanning and fill out their full name in Chinese/English on registration form upon entry. Persons under the category of Red Code or Amber Code are not allowed to enter Headquarters in the capacity of a participant of the booking involved with exercising.

*Exempted scenarios include:
A.    a person aged below 5;
B.    holders of the COVID-19 Vaccination Medical Exemption Certificate (Exemption Certificate);
C.    the person enters the Headquarter only for—
(i) only purpose of delivering or picking up of an article at Headquarter; or
(ii) performing necessary repairs at the Headquarter.
For circumstance C, please make a registration at the front gate before entering the Headquarter.
6.    All guests/visitors must scan the Guides Shop's "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code when you enter Guides Shop. For those who cannot present the QR code, he/she is not allowed to enter other area of Headquarter apart from Guides Shop.
7.    Visitors may be required to leave except he/she enters the venue to perform official duty, to purchase girl guide uniform/ products in Guide Shop or has booked for the use of Headquarters venues.
8.    To ensure the hygiene of the venue, 30 minutes will be reserved for cleaning before the next appointment.
9.    Keep your hands clean all the time. Hand rub is provided in Headquarters for necessary use.
10.    No eating or drinking is allowed inside all venues.
11.    Except venue users and event participants, other people are not suggested to stay in Headquarters in order to minimize the risk of spread of virus during gathering of people.

.    If anyone violates the guidelines above, the Association reserves the right to request that person to leave the venue.

Cleaning arrangement in Headquarters:

To minimize the risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19, cleaning arrangements are enhanced to safeguard the health of users at Headquarters of HKGGA: 
1.    After every use of venue, tables / chairs / floor will be disinfected with 1 in 49 diluted household bleach.
2.    Public facilities (e.g. lift, lobby, corridor) will be disinfected with 1 in 49 diluted household bleach twice a day.
3.    Frequently contacted surfaces (e.g. button, handrail, door handle, door knob, doorbell, power switch, table and chair) will be disinfected with 1 in 49 diluted household bleach twice a day.
4.    For obvious dirt, cleaning will be done immediately.
5.    Distilled water dispensers are cleaned daily. Professional inspection and disinfection of water tank of dispensers will be performed by contractor yearly. Visitors can bring their own bottle for refilling water.
6.    All visitors entering Headquarters are required to check body temperature, to wear a mask and to clean their hands with disinfectant to help preventing spread of the disease.
7.    Except venue users and event participants, other people are suggested not to stay in Headquarters in order to lower the risk of spread of virus during gathering of people.

Toilet Hygiene
1.    Toilet will be disinfected with 1 in 49 diluted household bleach every four hours.
2.    Soap and disposable paper towel will be provided for hand cleaning.
3.    Users are reminded to put the toilet lid down before flushing and clean and wash hands properly after using the toilet.
4.    Maintain drainage pipes properly by pouring about half a litre of water into each drain outlet (U-traps) every week.
