(Note: Workshop would be conducted in Cantonese)

 

Learning Goals

1. Explore your own potential and to equip yourself by learning various life skills
2. Experiencing a job interview simulation for future preparation
3. Understand an overview and development of the Job Market so as to plan for your career development

 

Introduction

Conducted by instructors from Peoplebank Hong Kong, an international human resources agency, to guide the participants in exploring their own perfect career, to help them to learn more about the real job market situation, as well as to make their own plans.  The workshop would be made up of 3 sessions:-

 

1. How to build “Your” dream world?

• Get to know yourself

• My Dream Job

• To acquire some life skills to make your dream become reality

2. Key actions to plan my future career

• Concerns on my career development

• When to start to thinking your future career

• Hong Kong Job Market Overview, key requirement and salary benchmark

• Plan for your career and actions to be taken

3. Interview Tips

• Prepare your CV

• Role Play with some common questions

Remark: Participants might be arranged for further connection to her desired industry for visit or internship

Date: 29 April 2018 (Sunday)

Time: 10am-4pm

Venue: 3/F Hall, HKGGA HQs (8 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon)

 

Target Group and Quota

Girl Guide, Ranger or Guider from all sections of age 15 to 25 – 25pax

 

Fee

Free of charge (subsidized by HKGGA, include handout, lunch and attendance certificate)

1. Complete the application form and send via email (tpg@hkgga.org.hk), fax to 2617 1478 or post/submit in person to Course Registration Office of HKGGA HQs (8 Gascoigne Road)

Application Guidelines

1. Application would be handled by first-come-first-served basis, and would not be handled if the information provided by the applicant is incomplete.
2. Enrollment list would be posted on the event website.
3. The participant’s name could not be amended once the application is accepted.  If the enrolled participant could not attend the event please inform the Course Registration Staff as soon as possible.
