Updated on 4 March 2020: To tie in with the government's measures in preventing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, and to safeguard our members' health, "Making Teams Successful Workshop" (13/02/2020 and 20/02/2020) would be cancelled. Objective
 
The workshop helps Leader understand how to build up successful team spirit and develop effective leadership through trust, effective communication and mutual support. 

Exploring and building on members’ strengths boosts the morale among members and helps them acknowledge their importance in the team.

 

Target
 
  1. Present Appointed Guider of any section, Leader of Happy Bee / Golden Guide, or Commissioner.
  2. Suitable for Leader who has completed Level 2 (Part 1 &2) of the Leader Training Scheme.

 

 

Content
  1. Identify characteristics of an effective team
  2. Foster commitment and collaboration in the team through activities
  3. Develop guidelines to treating girls and other members with respect and helping everyone learn from each other
  4. Positive and negative experiences in teamwork
  5. Eliminate barriers for teamwork
  6. Identify reasons affecting team performance
  7. Build trust and acceptance
  8. Develop team collaboration and achieve consensus
  9. Enhance team problem-solving
  10. Resolve conflicts constructively
 

 

Graduation Requirement

 

1.     Attend 100% of the session

Remarks :     

  1. You are required to attend 100% of the sessions in order to fulfil the course completion requirements.
  2. Please do not send CASH / POST-DATED CHEQUE / POSTAL ORDER with application.
  3. When typhoon No. 1 signal is hoisted, all Leaders Training Scheme will carry on. All the courses will be cancelled when typhoon No.8 signal is hoisted. When typhoon No.3 signal is hoisted, the Association will decide whether to carry on or to postpone the Training Session 3 hours before the LTS and at 12:00noon for Overnight Camp. Please contact HQ at 2332 5523 for further information.
  4. When a black rainstorm signal is hoisted, all courses are cancelled.
  5. An alternate session notice will be sent to participants within one week.
  6. No parking spaces provided at headquarters on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.
