「Sun, Sea and Helping Hands」 Marine Education Activity
「Sun, Sea and Helping Hands」
Marine Education Activity
World Wildlife Fund
Marine litter is a serious global problem whose impacts spread far beyond the world’s populated areas. Litter reaches all corners of the planet, landing on uninhabited islands, spreading through pristine Arctic waters, and sinking into the deep seas through wind and ocean currents.
「Sun, Sea and Helping Hands」The marine education activities will lead the Girl Guides to collect seawater samples from the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter. Through the test of the microplastics in the water samples, they will understand the marine plastic problems. During the event, WWF experts will also introduce how to use different methods to reduce the ecological impact of marine plastics.
