「Let's T.A.L.K」 Child Protection Series Activities

The Police Force launched a seven-week campaign on child protection - "Let's T.A.L.K" , a territory-wide child protection campaign will be launched to raise public awareness on child protection and to enhance the mental health of carers of children to facilitate the creation of harmonious families. Girl Guides member are welcomed to join the events as follow: 
 

 

1. Family Coloring & Slogan Design Contest
Objective Aim to increase the child protection awareness through the coloring and slogan design contest within the community, especially kindergarten and primary school teachers.
Qualification Kindergarten students in Hong Kong (including kindergarten-cum-child care centre) and P1 - P6 students and their parents. The Participant is allowed to submit one entry only which is chosen from one of the designated coloring templates: T, A, L, K or TALK
Prizes

Each grouping:

  1. Champion, 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up and 5 Merit Prize
  2. Best Creative Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  3. Best Slogan Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  4. 15 Best Participation Award: Kindergarten, Jr Primary School, Sr Primary School

Each awardees will gain a certificate and prize.

2. Jumping Jacks Challenge Video Clip Contest
Rules

  • Produce a video clip of length 45 seconds or below

  • At least two participants (one of whom should be of age below 16) in the video clip

  • Creativity is one of the assessment criteria and the participants can show off their talents by customised dance moves, background music, costumes, etc.

  • Slogan(s) advocating child protection must be included in the video clip
Prizes
  1. Champion, 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up
  2. Most Creative、Best Creative、Best Slogan、Most people Participate、Most In-Sycn Family (20 Awards intotal)
  3. Prizes include Staycation Coupon and other prizes
Application Method

  • Submit your video clip via WhatsApp to 9471 8821; or

  • Submit your video clip online by :

    • Uploading the video clip to any cloud storage or online media like Google Drive, Dropbox or YouTube (note: the uploaded video clip should be open to public or with a specific link provided for viewing); and

    • Complete and submit the form, and submit the video clip link to this contest webpage
