Island Scout Trail Walk 2023 - Girl Guide's Team

Island Scout Trail Walk started from 1998, which aims to encourage members to join hiking activities and strengthen the connection between different groups.

HKGGA is being invited to recruit members to join the event, details as below:

 

Date： 19th March 2023 (Sunday)
Time: 

6:00 am - 7:00 pm (must completed within 13 hours)
Venue： Hong Kong Trail（Big Wave Bay to the peak）
Section： Open Category
Fee：

$100 for each team (Fee including water, food, souvenir, badge, certificate and transportation to the starting point) 

* First 4 teams apply will receive the FULL sponsorship from the Association to support the event fee

* Payment will be arranged after deadline, and notified through email

Remarks：
  • Each team please bring a smartphone for recording the time in the event (iOS or Android operation system)
  • Pre-event meeting : each team must send at least ONE representative to attend which held on 7th March 2023 7:30pm at The 20-storey Hong Kong Scout Centennial Building

Items： 50 KM 25 KM
Qualifications：

Girl Guides Members aged 13 or above

Girl Guides Members aged 11 to 14 years old
Format：

One team consists of four members with one backup (optional)
Length： 50 KM 25 KM
Prizes：

Each group with the Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up

All prizes will be presented in the ceremony held at the Peak on the event day
Reporting Time：

5:30 am

Transportation：

1. Participants may go to the starting point by themselves or

2. take the shuttle bus arranged by the host

Participants must arrive on time in the The 20-storey Hong Kong Scout Centennial Building, and take the shuttle bus arranged by the host 
Remarks：

- Each team can customize their own team name
