Spending time in nature and experiencing Girl Guides Camping

Objective and Content: Participants will experience camping and camp activities with Girl Guides characteristics in the campsite. While enjoying nature, they will discover their potential through engaging in camp activities that embody the essence of Girl Guides.

The activities include learning tent pitching skills, pioneering, simulated wilderness survival, hiking experiences, adventure activities, campfire and night challenges.

Shorelines Cleaning Campaign

Objective and Content:  Leading a group of enthusiastic participants, we conducted a beach cleaning activity to contribute to the preservation of the ocean. By taking part in this shorelines cleaning campaign, we aimed to raise awareness about marine conservation and promote waste reduction at source.

Chinese Style Foot-drill Training

Objective and Content: Chinese Style Foot-drill training Through Foot-drill training, we aim to cultivate and enhance individuals with discipline, self-confidence, perseverance and cooperation with others.

Youth Sing and Shine – Pop Band Course

Objective: Young people aged 10 to 20 who have a basic understanding of music are welcome to participate, and we will provide them with a star-level training course, allowing them to unleash their musical talents in a relaxed and stress-free environment. Each participant must be able to play an instrument, such as electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, jazz drum, etc.  All applicants must attend an interview and audition which will be organized by the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association (“the Association”).

Youth Sing and Shine – Group Dancing and Singing Course

Objective: Young people aged 10 to 20 who have a basic knowledge and skills of singing and dancing are welcome to participate. We will provide them with a star-rated training course, allowing them to release their singing and dancing talents in a relaxed and stress-free environment, and further improve their singing and dancing skills.  All applicants must have basic knowledge and skills of singing or dancing and should attend an interview and audition which will be organized by the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association (“the Association”) .

YoWo Community Changemakers

YoWo Community Changemakers is a two-pronged project to create long-term impact – firstly to empower and nurture young women to become changemakers and problem-solvers of the future through practical skill-based training; in turn, the young women will identify problems and look for solutions within the community through focus groups and site visits, and run a service project with the aim of improving the welfare and wellbeing of underprivileged groups.
